All who knew Abdul loved him. Abdul was loved and cared for dearly by his Grandmother, Norma Baker his entire life. Abdul was happy to have found love and true friendship in Jennifer Henry. Jennifer, the family thanks you for your commitment and love of Abdul. Abdul Jalil Hakim Mumin Baker was born in Springfield Massachusetts to Roger Baker and Kimberly Ann Williams on May 27, 1986. Abdul attended DeBerry Elementary school, Chestnut Middle School (gifted and talented program) and graduated from New Leadership Charter School. Abdul also attended Kean University in Union New Jersey. Abdul was a free spirit. He was talented, loved singing and dancing. He won many contests at Sam Bolden’s yearly Halloween parties. He was an excellent basketball and football player, and enjoyed watching his favorite teams, the Golden State Warriors and the New York Jets. He was once portrayed as the pied piper because of all the attention he got from the young ladies in school. He loved scary movies and sneakers! Abdul leaves behind to cherish his memories, his father Roger Baker, his paternal grandmother Norma Baker, sister Fatia Williams, brothers Kyle Baker and Ahmad Weaver, uncle Charlie Williams, his niece Khalia Finks, nephew Janik Finks, nephew Rohan Malcolm III and his dear friend Jennifer Henry. Abdul also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends. Abdul is Predeceased by: his mother Kimberly Ann Williams, his sister Destiny Weaver, his brother Azeez Baker, his maternal grandmother Carolyn Williams, his maternal grandfather, Charles Williams Sr. and his uncle Michael Williams
