Achim Bailey

Achim G. Bailey, 23, of Coleman St., departed this life on March 15, 2019.  Born in Springfield, he was a son of Hugh D. Bailey and Dorothy V. (Christian) Bailey.  He graduated from Central High School, where he was a member of the track team, swim team, and basketball team, as well as the band.  He is survived by his parents, three brothers, Jeremiah Odean, Shaun Bailey, and Cavaun Bailey;  a sister, Tanishia Bailey;  and his grandmothers, Pauline Thompson and Norma McDonald.  A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at St. John’s Congregational Church.
