Albon Wilson

Albon Everett Wilson Sr., 56, of Worthington Street, departed this life on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at home.  Born in Alexander City, Alabama, he was the son of Lawrence Wilson Sr. and Leona (Whatley)  Albon. As a youth he had been active in basketball and track, Junior ROTC at Springfield Technical High School,; and was a NASCAR enthusiast.   He  worked for Stop & Shop and as a Home Health Aide a United States Army veteran.  Predeceased by his parents and a son Albon Wilson Jr. , Albon  is survived by his son Clinton William of Springfield, MA; four daughters Joushlyn Wilson, Lesha Wilson, Monet Taylor all of Springfield and Tiana Ross of Augusta, GA ; his brother and sister Lawrence Wilson Jr. of Northampton, MA  and  Pamela Johnson of Bloomfield, CT  and five grandchildren.   Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Christian Faith Church Springfield MA.
