David A Stenson Sr.

David Alan Stenson Sr., 55, of 193 Worthington St., Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born on Tuesday May 28, 1963, he was a son of the late Frank Edward Eatmon and the late Mamie (Garner) Stenson. He lived in Springfield for most of his life with stints in Alaska, North Carolina, South Carolina, and New Mexico.  He worked as a superintendent in environmental services. David loved fishing and cooking. Pre-deceased by siblings, Gregory Stenson, Mary Frances Tilman, Sandra Stenson, and Marilyn Stenson, he is survived by a son, David A. Stenson Jr. of Connecticut; six sisters, Donna Chaddan, Jacqueline Howard, and Tekia Stenson of Columbia, South Carolina,  Kathleen Hall, Atha Eatmon, and Valerie Whitsette of Springfield; best friend/nephew, Donald Garner of Anchorage, Alaska, and Derrick Stenson of Springfield.  As well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
