David L Williams

 David Lloyd “D.J.” Williams departed this life on Sunday September 9, 2018.  He was a son of the late Berneta D. (Sims) Williams and David Lloyd Williams Sr.  He graduated in the Class of ’83 from Putnam Vocational Technical High School.  A Marine Corps veteran, he received the Rifle Expert, Pistol Marksman, and Good Conduct Badges and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.  He worked at Baystate Medical Center and at Mercy Medical Center.  He was much loved by his patients and co-workers in the ER, PACU, and 6A.  David enjoyed music, sports, grilling, and writing poetry.  David leaves behind four children, Ashli Williams, Tiara-Elizabeth D. Perreault, Austin Williams, and Savanna Renee Perreault;  a granddaughter, Brooklyn Thomas (Ashli Williams);  a sister, Kimberli Williams;  two nephews, Gregory Woods Jr. and Corey Williams (and his daughter, Serenity);  a niece, Tiffany (Williams) Henry (and her husband, Dennis Henry, and their daughter, Amaya).  He will be deeply missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.  Please join the family at 2 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. Agawam, MA.
