Dora Long

Dora L. Long of Springfield, MA died on April 29, 2019 at Baystate Hospital. She was born in Athens, GA on July 18, 1942 to the late Johnny Nowell Sr. and Fannie Nowell. She was educated in the Clarke County School system. She was employed for many years as a personal care attendant. She is survived by her three children Pamela Long, Kemler Long-Hanks and The Rev. Joe C. Long Jr., all of Springfield, MA. She was a member of Progressive Community Baptist Church in Springfield, MA. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Calling hours will be Friday, May 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. funeral service will follow. All services will be held at Progressive Community Baptist Church. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery
