Doris Price Obituary

Doris "Tweety" Price, 57, of Burke St., departed this life on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Bastrop, LA, she was the daughter of Clara Miller and Willie Miller. "Tweety" was a special child of God and a resident of Springfield for 50 years. Pre-deceased by her parents and three siblings, Boris "Freddie," Mary, Jimmie Lee, and John Robert Price, she is survived by a beloved son, Edwin D. Price Sr. a daughter-in-law, Latasha Alexander; her boyfriend, Larry Scott; four brothers, Felton, Thomas, Gregory, and Donald; six sisters, Clementine, Annie, Katie, Joyce, Lola, and Gloria; and three grandsons, Jamari Alexander, Mason Price, and Edwin Price Jr. The calling hour is 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday at Harrell Funeral Home followed by the funeral at noon with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
