Kenneth Heatley Obituary

Kenneth L. Heatley, 57, departed this life on Friday, March 16, 2018. Born at Westover AFB Hospital, Kenny was the proud son of Air Force veteran Sare Heatley and Julia (Seabrook) Heatley. Due to his father's military career Kenny and his parents relocated and he lived on an air force base in North Dakota for some years eventually settling back in Springfield where he remained the rest of his life. Kenny was an outstanding chef and spread his gifts and talents everywhere. He served the Boy Scouts at the Moses Scout Reservation and at Camp Chesterfield for many years, side by side with his Dad and assumed the position of Head Chef upon his father's demise. He also worked for AIC, Hilton Gardens, The Ranch Golf Course, The Marriott, 99 Restaurant, Denny's, Rockridge Retirement Community, and UConn, but his #1 love was Scout Camp. He leaves his beloved only child, Julia; his wife, Kimberly; 12 siblings, Edith, Karen (and Chino), Sheryl (and Keith), Sonny (and Stephanie), Siara (and Mark), Chantal (and Shey), Aaron, Angel, Medalia, Shanealia (and Mel), Joey, and Angel; 13 nieces and nephews; 26 great-nieces and nephews; and numerous friends who dearly loved him. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either the Shriners Hospital for Children  or the Go Fund Me Account for Kim and Julia @ gf.me/u/hi7g2k.
