Mandy Smith

Mandy Smith, 78,  of Goodwin St., in the Indian Orchard section of Springfield, MA passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Demopolis, Alabama on March 31, 1941,she was the daughter of Mammie (Lockett) Smith and Kizzie Smith.  During the summer of 1993 Mandy relocated to Massachusetts from the Bayonne, New Jersey area where she was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.  Mandy will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.  Predeceased by her parents, a son Christopher Galloway and daughter Cellie Ann Rebecca (Smith) Santana, she is survived by one son Curtis Smith, three daughters Mandy C. Smith, Francine L. Smith and Mammie L. Smith; one brother Eddie Smith and one sister Theloretta Smith, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  All services will be held on Monday in New Jersey under the direction of Jackson Funeral Residence of Jersey City  and burial will take place at Arlington Cemetery in Kearny, New Jersey.
