Mildred A. Dudley

Mildred Alberta Evelyn (Griffin) Dudley, 90, of Pine Point, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Holyoke, MA, she was the daughter of Evelyn Rose (Walker) Griffin and Albert Griffin. Mildred worked until retirement as an administrative assistant in the Personnel Dept. at Mass Mutual Life Insurance Co. and following her retirement continued in her role as a volunteer voter poll worker. After 40 years of membership at Faith Baptist Church where they were married, Mildred and her husband, Oscar, became active congregants of Alden Baptist Church. Mildred belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star, the Golden Circle, and Daughters of Isis, before relinquishing some activities in later years. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Oscar Dudley and their only child, Robert Dudley, daughter-in-law Patricia Dudley, sister Ruth Leslie, niece Evelyn Wills (Wiley), and nephews Albert Leslie and Michael Wills. Mildred's memory will be cherished her beloved grandsons, Dajjal Dudley and Dana Dudley; niece, Liz O'Gilvie (Ed), who became the daughter she never had; great-grandchildren, D' Ana, Dana Jr, Trevon, Shayania, Chantz, and December; niece, Marva Wills; first cousin, Evelyn Turner; and sister-in-law, Idella Roland.
