O’Zonna Patrice Burston, 40, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October3, 2018 in Springfield, MA. She peacefully exchanged time for eternal life. She was born on November 6, 1977 to Joan and Michael Burston. O’Zonna was raised in Springfield, MA. Where she attended Springfield public schools. She was also a member of Unity in Christ Agape love ministries. O’Zonna had an outgoing personality and smile that was infectious. She had a smile that would brighten people’s day. She loved to cook and was well known for her Mac and Cheese and roasted chicken. She was a dedicated hard-working mother of 6. She had a gift of welcoming people into her home and making them feel special. She excelled in customer service which was proven through the many positions she held. O’Zonna loved dolphins, and always liked to receive them as gifts. She also had the gift of drawing. She will be remembered especially by her family as the coordinator for family gatherings. She loved romantic movies, two of her favorites were Dirty Dancing and Pretty Woman. She also loved to watch Norbit so much that she could rewrite the script. Predeceased by father Micheal Burston, brother John William Terrell, and son Isaiah Micheal Emanuel. She leaves to lovingly cherish her memory, her mother Pastor Joan L. (Wallace) Burston of Springfield MA, and two brothers Kenneth E. Wallace (Joanne)and Micheal A. Burston, Two sisters Laurisa M. Hayles, and, Zhavon J. Burston. Five children and one inherited. Four sons Nathaniel L. Emanuel Jr., Messiah J. Emanuel, John A. Emanuel, Nehemiah D. Emanuel. Two daughters Tashai N. Burston, Rhianna A. Nichols. Two grandsons Ta’Zhon J. Burston- Moss and Nazier H. Nichols all of Springfield MA, Her godmother Samara M. Bryer and brother from another mother and father David L. Sims. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many who were engrafted into the family as brothers and sisters.
