Steven Parker Sr. Obituary

Stephen David Parker Sr., 64, of Governor's Center, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Noble Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield to John K. Parker Sr. and Aurelia Minnie (Branch) Parker, Stephen was a lifelong Springfield resident and worked in security and as a home care provider. He leaves a son, Stephen Parker II (and wife, Sarah); two daughters, Tiana and Rozlyn; a brother, Harold Parker; three sisters, Delores, Gail, and Christina; his former wife, Gayle Parker; and 4 grandchildren, Thelma, Jonathan, Ella, and Lily. He was pre-deceased by four siblings Lonzo Parker, John Parker Jr., Turhan Parker, and Jean Ranson. A memorial service in celebration of his life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Harrell Funeral Home.
