Tommy L. Daniels (Thomas) of Gladstone Street in Springfield, Massachusetts, slipped away into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. He was born on May 26, 1954 in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he was educated in Springfield public schools and was employed by several companies, and was fondly called “Uncle T” by his nephew and nieces. He was the last of the thirteen children of the late Deacon James Daniels, Sr. and Josiephine (Washington) Daniels.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Deacon James Sr. and Josiephine; four brothers, Deacon James Jr., Mathis, John and Leroy Daniels; twin- daughters, Tanesha and Tiana Daniels; and a daughter in law, Brenda Jiles. He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Marcus Jiles and Thomas J. Daniels; two daughters, Tyrena Daniels, Crassina Cope all of Springfield. He also leaves two brothers, Pastor Andrew (Alice) Daniels, Pastor Robert (Sadie) Daniels; six sisters, Mother Frances (Johnny) Wimberly, Mother Chattie (Benny) Davis, Pastor Minnie Brown (Frederick) Madison, and Vera (John) Talbert all of Springfield; Pastor Betty (Bishop-Elect James) Gill of Wilbraham, MA and Mother Laureen (Fred) Knighton of Bloomfield CT; sisters-in-law, Lillie Daniels, Jessie Daniels and Elizabeth Daniels all of Springfield; eleven grandchildren, one great-grand; a special niece, Doris J. Daniels and a host of relatives and friends. The calling hour is 10-11 a.m. Thursday at Harvest Fellowship Church, followed by funeral services at 11.
