Will Bell Johnson Obituary

Deacon Will Bell Johnson 86 of Maxton Nc  and formerly Springfield mass went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2018 at his home. Mr. Johnson was born December 1, 1931 in Shellman Georgia to Vinnie Williams and Ervin Johnson. He attended school in Randolph County where He worked as a share cropper for many years. While in Georgia he met the love of his life Mother Louise Johnson and entered into holy matrimony on January 29, 1952. He and his wife later moved their family to Springfield Massachusetts where he worked as a highway engineer worker building and paving local roads and highways. While living in Springfield his first job was being an obedient servant and committed soldier to the Lord. Deacon and Mother Johnson were founders and dedicated members of Praise and Glory Ministries which later came to be the Christian Cathedral. For over 15 years he served as Chairman of the deacon board. God, prayer, family, and work were the message he gave everywhere he went because he believed God. Deacon Johnson was predeceased by his parents Vinnie Williams and Ervin Johnson, his loving wife of 65 years Mother Louise Johnson , 1 son Julius Lee Johnson 1 daughter Annie  C. Johnson, 2 Brothers  Walter r. Johnson and Ervin Johnson and 2 grandsons . He is survived by his sister Thelma Blackmon (Eugene) of Edison Georgia, 5 children Willie Johnson, Mary Johnson, Nathaniel Johnson, Linda Bolden (Christopher), Sara Johnson all of Maxton nc. 21 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
