Zachariah Nevill Ramsey passed away on Monday May 27, 2019 at Baystate Hospital in Springfield, MA. He was born in Springfield, MA on June 30, 1989 to Zachariah Jones and Lisa Ramsey. He was raised in Hartford, East Hartford, and Manchester, CT before returning to Springfield, MA. As a young man, Zach excelled in sports such as basketball and boxing. He went on to pursue a career in boxing, starting at a young age with his brother. He became a dedicated and accomplished boxer. His achievements include; becoming 3x Western Massachusetts Golden Glove Champion, 2x New England Golden Glove Champion, 2x Rocky Marciano Champion, and 2x PAL Champion. He had 96 wins and only 4 losses He made his debut as a professional boxer in May 2012. He also received an award from CES Classic Entertainment and Sports. Zach was a great humanitarian, helping others in his community by dedicating his time to teach young and old his craft. He was a positive, humble, and fun-loving person. Zach had two children, Anylah Janice Anderson and Zyair King Ramsey. When not in the ring, Zach spent most of his time as a devoted friend to those around him as well as a devoted father to his children. Whether having play-dates, going to the park, or play boxing, he never had a shortage of time when it came to his children Zach was more than just a boxer or the titles that he held. He was a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, and a friend.
