Aaron Marshall Thomas II, 31, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, he was a son of Lisa Jenkins and Aaron M. Thomas. He had been employed as a floor and tile installer. Aaron enjoyed basketball, football, uplifting others, and bringing his family together. He attended Bethel A.M.E. Church. Pre-deceased by a grandfather, Elton Jenkins, he is survived by his parents, of Springfield; three brothers, Coreese, Jaecuan Sr., and Coleton, all of Springfield; three sisters, Tatiana, Jayla, and Talyesha, all of Springfield; three grandparents, Lucille Oliver Holmes of Boston, MA and Claudia Thomas and John Thomas, both of Springfield; five nieces and nephews, Zayon, Malachi, May’Lani, Jaecuan Jr., and A’lani; a god-son, Rozmell Jr.; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends; and a host of other special loved ones. A walk-thru wake will be 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Harrell Funeral Home. Facial masks and social distance are required. Funeral services are private with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
