Alpha Bell

  Alpha Omega (Arnold) Bell, 69, of Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on June 27, 2023, at Vantage of Wilbraham.  Born in Greenville, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Hosea Sherman Arnold Sr. and Barbara R. (Neely) Arnold. 

  Alpha lived in Springfield most of her life and was employed as an administrative clerk for social service agencies.  She was a member of Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church, where she served as a greeter.  She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. 

  Pre-deceased by her father, Sherman Arnold, and a brother, Michael Arnold, Alpha is survived by her mother, Barbara Arnold, of Springfield;  two brothers, Hosea Sherman Arnold Jr. and Bruce Alan Arnold, both of Springfield;  two sisters, Azizah Shakir and Elizabeth Annette Arnold, both of Springfield;  and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church 797 State Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
