Antonia (Tavares) McCrimmons, 72, of Stanhope Road, departed this life on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Baystate Medical Center.
A lifelong resident of Springfield, Antonia had been employed as a clerk by Westfield Welfare. She attended Greater New Life Christian Center. Mrs. McCrimmons taught bible study at Mason Wright for many years and enjoyed reading and puzzles. Pre-deceased by her parents, Pio V. Tavares and Katie Lou (Denson) Tavares, she is survived by a son, Rodney McCrimmons ; a daughter, Renee (and Kelvin Sr.) Baldwin; four grandchildren, Christopher McCrimmons (and Nina), Brandon McCrimmons (and Izzy), Kelvin “KJ” Baldwin Jr., and Kendall Baldwin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The calling hour is noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, December 23, at Harrell Funeral Home, followed by a homegoing service at 1. Face masks are required.
