Arnold L. Moore

  ARNOLD LEON MOORE, 55, of Mallowhill Road, Springfield, Massachusetts, entered into the presence of God on Saturday, May 13, 2023.  Arnold was born on New Year's Day, 1968, in Wichita, Kansas.  He was a son of Rev. Dr. Harold L. Moore (pastor emeritus of Holy Temple Church Of God In Christ) and Gertrude (Galbreath) Moore (predeceased).  Arnold was blessed with the gift of music and played both the organ and piano like no other.  He loved to mentor youth and up and coming musicians.  He held the position of Music Director at Spring of Hope Church Of God In Christ.  He served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged after several years of service.  Later he worked as a machine operator for a Commercial Construction business.  During his leisure time he loved to spend time with his family, produce music, and watch United Fight Club and Mixed Martial Arts.

 
  Pre-deceased by his mother and two brothers, Dwayne Moore and David Moore Arnold is survived by his father;  a brother, Patrick Moore (and Michelle) of Springfield;  two sisters, Iris Berry of Springfield and Marlene Moore-Bowens of Frisco, TX;  his beloved children, James Moore, Ahmad Davis-Moore, and Mercedes Moore, all of Springfield, Dondre Strother and Arnold J. Moore, both of Agawam, Massachusetts, and Brandi Moore of Chicopee, Massachusetts;  and princess Bella. 

There will be a calling hour Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. at Deliverance Center Ministries, 336 Springfield Street, Springfield, MA, followed by the funeral at 11 A.M.  His burial will be directly following the service.
