Beverly J. Golson

  Beverly Jean (Elliott) Golson, 70, of Patterson Avenue, Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

  Born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, she was the youngest daughter of nine children born to Robbie Elliott and Myrtle (Jackson) Elliott.  In 1979 she moved to Springfield and worked as a cashier at the local Stop & Shop.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and shopping. 

  Predeceased by a daughter, Tilana Golson, Beverly is survived by two sons, Thomas Golson, of Springfield and Cameron Golson of Chicopee, MA;  three brothers, Harold Elliott of Florida, Bobby Elliott of North Carolina, and Thales Elliott of Georgia;  two sisters, Joan Inman of New York City and Patricia King of Charlotte, North Carolina;  six grandchildren;  and a great-grandchild. 

Visitation will be at Harrell Funeral Home on Saturday from 1-3 p.m.
