Bob Lee Daniels

 Bob Lee Daniels, 73, of Saffron Circle, departed this life on  Sunday, May 24, 2020.  Born in Springfield, Bob was the son of Alto Daniels, Sr.  and Ann M. (Williams) Daniels.  As an artist Bob had a huge presence through out the Western Massachusetts Art Community.   As an art teacher for one of the City of Springfield's charter schools,  he motivated and encouraged young minds to express their creativity and translate their emotions thru the art genre.  

Bob served his country  in the U.S. Marine Corps and earned the  Vietnam Cross of Gallantry and  the Purple Heart. He also designed the Vietnam War Memorial located in downtown Springfield. He was a proud Member of the  Winchester Square Vietnam Veterans Ltd.   He leaves to cherish his memory, two brothers Russell Daniels and Alto Daniels, Jr.; a niece Aisha O. Daniels and nephew Alto E. Daniels III; numerous Williams cousins and other extended relatives and friends.   He was laid to rest with his military comrades at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
