Bonita Richardson, 64, of Worcester, Massachusetts, departed this life on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at her home. She was born in Tuskegee, Alabama, a daughter of the late Betty Richardson. Bonita lived here in Massachusetts for the past 54 years. She was an activist in the AIDS Project in Worcester. She loved music, dancing, and being a big sister, and was known for posting pictures on Facebook.
Bonita was pre-deceased by her son, Albert Lockett Jr., and will be forever missed by her longtime companion, Mark Connors; her daughter, Celeste “Lady Bug” Lockett of Springfield; three brothers, David Richardson (and wife Sherry) of Springfield, Massachusetts, Wendell Richardson of Feeding Hills, Massachusetts, and Ricky Richardson (and wife Alma) of Pensacola, Florida; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Bonita was pre-deceased by two sisters, Pamela Richardson and Kathia Richardson.
