Bruce Jones Obituary

Bruce Stanley Jones, “Kilam” 64, of King Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away on December 10, 2024, at home.

Bruce was born in Springfield the beloved son of Charles W. Jones and Margaret B.   When Bruce “Kilam” as he was referred to by many who knew and loved him, returned to Springfield, he honed other skills, his ability to listen intently without judgement and to always have an affirmation for family and friends.  He worked for Continental Cable Company, PVTA as a driver and finally as a supervisor at Center for Human Development Juvenile Detention Center for more than ten years, retiring in 2020.

Pre-deceased by three brothers, Henry Douglas Cogman, Craig Cogman, and Charles E. Lynch Sr. and two sisters, Anita Jean Roberson and Pamela Cogman, he is survived by his children, Tanasia Jones, Radasia L. Burston, Kamaishia Q. Burston, and Tyasha L.
