Cathy Barnett

  Cathy Barnett, 61, of Chicopee, Massachusetts suddenly entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.

  She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Hattie (Hunt) Barnett and the late Roger Barnett.

  Cathy will be remembered for her wild humor, love for people, cooking, fishing, car knowledge, and playing cards.  She was a PCA and CNA for many years and had a great gift for working with seniors.

  She is survived by her only child and daughter, Lashawnda Barnett of Chicopee;  her sister, Jaqueline Jones of Alabama;  her nephew, Robert Jones of Texas;  and many cousins and friends of Alabama, North Carolina, and Massachusetts.

The calling hour is 11 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Harrell Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 11:30.
