Cherie Williams-Brown

Cherie Lynn Williams-Brown, 56, of Westford Circle, passed away on Sunday, April18, 2021, at Baystate Medical Center. A daughter of Edward Williams and Sallie McNair, Cherie was a lifelong Springfield resident. She was a letter carrier for the U. S. Postal Service and a member of the Postal Workers Union. She attended Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and St. John’s Congregational Church and loved cooking, her family, and especially her grandchildren. Cherie is survived by her parents; her husband, Benjamin Brown Jr.; two children, Terry Dr. Brown and Tiffany E. Brown; five grandchildren, Anton Brown, Jayden Brown, Tori Christina Brown, Josiah Brown, and Somiea Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends. The public “walk-thru” calling hour is 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Christian Faith Baptist Church, 54 Bowdoin Street. Funeral services are private.
