Claudia Thomas

  Claudia Thomas, 93, of Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on August 22, 2025.

  Born in Smithsville, Georgia, she was a daughter of Wooster Williams and Minnie Mae (McGee) Williams.  Claudia worked for the United States Postal Service.

  Pre-deceased by three sons, John F. Thomas Sr., Brian A. Thomas, and Andre W. Thomas, two daughters, Gail Rochelle Thomas-Lockman and Terri Yvonne-Cherie Thomas, and a brother, John Edwards Jr., she is survived by three sons, Roland D. Thomas, Van Stephen Thomas, and Aaron M. Thomas;  a daughter, Kim Beatrice Thomas;  twenty-eight grandchildren;  forty-four great-grandchildren;  twelve great-great-grandchildren;  and a host of other relatives and friends.

  The calling hour is 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at St. John’s Congregational Church, followed by funeral services at 11:30 a.m., with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
