Cleamous Mitchell (77) of Springfield went home to be with the Lord on April 7th, 2020. Born August 15, 1942 in Maxeys, Ga. He is the son of the late Harvine Booker Mitchell of Rayle, Ga. and Amaziah Mitchell of Maxeys, Ga. Cleamous was a lifelong resident of Springfield, Ma., and he worked several years for the Springfield Paper Stock, in West Springfield, MA., H.B. Goodman, a Cook at Worthington Street Shelter (Pops) and Lastly, a Live-in Personal Caregiver to several Veterans. Cleamous enjoyed cooking, yard-work, cleaning and just helping people in general. Cleamous resided at the Chapin Center Nursing Home and then Baystate Hospital where he passed away from complications due to the Coronavirus. Cleamous was predeceased by (7) sisters and (3) brothers. He leaves to cherish his memories (1) sister: Viola Mitchell and (1) brother: George Mitchell both of Springfield, Ma, (3) special sons of Springfield, Ma, and a host of nieces & nephews & many friends. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date
