Connie Bazile

  Connie Yvette (Wills) Bazile, 63, of Hollywood St., Springfield, Massachusetts passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. 

  Connie, born in Monroe, Louisiana, was the beloved daughter of John Brown and Thelma (Ford) Wills.  She was educated, lived, and worked in the Springfield area most of her life.  She also lived in Minnesota and Wisconsin for a while.  Those that knew Connie know that she loved to cook and was known for delighting people with her many dishes, especially her potato salad.  That is now a void that will forever be in our hearts.

  Pre-deceased by her father, John Brown, a sister, Shelia Wills, and two brothers, Darnell Wills and John Wills, she leaves her mother, Thelma (Ford) Wills of Springfield;  a son, Allen Wills of Springfield;  four daughters, Lakisha Wills and Shamara Wills, both of Chicopee, Massachusetts and Nyresha Thomas and Thelma Thomas (and William Coney), both of Springfield;  two brothers, Shawn Wills and Eric Wilson, both of Springfield;  three sisters, Cynthia Yvonne White and Katrina Wills, both of Springfield and Dana Wills of Georgia;  twelve grandchildren;  four great-grandchildren;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends who love her dearly. 

The calling hour will be 10-11 a.m. Friday at the Deliverance Center Ministries, 336 Springfield Street, Springfield, MA, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
