Corrie Wilson Obituary

 Corrie Todd Wilson, 59, of Stafford Street, Springfield, was called  home to be with the Lord  on September 29, 2021 at his home.  Born in Bridgeton, New Jersey, he was the son of John H. Wilson and Shirley Louise (Bankhead) Wilson. 

 Corrie was a US Army veteran, Specialist 4th class, who  has been a Springfield  resident for twenty years.   During his leisure time he enjoyed watching football, the western "Gunsmoke", fishing and listening to "old school" music.  He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved daughter Talaja Wilson, and his longtime companion Cassandra Dyer both of Springfield; three brothers Edward Wilson (and Sheila), Nathaniel Heggs and Laron Wilson all of New Jersey; six sisters Valice Wilson , Shirley Denise Wilson, Gwendolyn Dennis (and George) , Velvet Wilson and Crystal Wilson all of New Jersey and  Ladore Heggs of Virginia. 

 Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Macedonia Church of God In Christ, 233 Tinkham Road, followed by a comittal service with military honors at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at 2:00 p.m.
