Da'Vant Larrell Byrd, of Holyoke, Massachusetts, a student at Holyoke Middle School who enjoyed cheerleading, dancing, singing, and entertaining others, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023. He celebrated his 13th birthday on March 1st.
Besides his parents, Darrell Byrd and Linka Baulkman, he is survived by two brothers, Imari Williams and Ste'fen Baulkman, both of Springfield; two sisters, Stephanie Carter and Aria Byrd; a grandmother, Delema Byrd of Worcester; a grandfather, Earl Ingram of Springfield; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. De'Vant was pre-deceased by an uncle, Tyrone Baulkman, two grandfathers, Leroy James and Joseph Lockett, and a grandmother, Carol Lockett.
The calling hour is 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at St. John's Congregational Church, 45 Hancock St., Springfield. MA, followed by the funeral at noon with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
