David A. Hodge

  David Ali Hodge, 61, of Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Friday, July 17, 2026. 

  Born in Springfield, he was a son of David R. Hodge and Daphna (Eady) Hodge.  David graduated from Springfield schools and was a United States Marine Corps Veteran.  He was a 10-year firefighter in Springfield stationed on Engine 3, Ladder 3.

  Pre-deceased by his parents, and a brother, Quran Hodge, David is survived by his wife, Madeline Perez-Hodge;  four sons, David “Brendon” Hodge, Dominic Hodge, Michael D. Hodge, and Alexis Perez;  three daughters, Ebony L. Jackson, Natasha A. Hodge, and Tatiana M. Hodge;  a brother, Khaatim “Tim” Hodge;  two sisters, Evelyn Coley and Taisha Williams;  thirteen grandchildren;  many nieces and nephews;  and a host of other relatives and friends. 

The calling hour is 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2026, followed by funeral services at 11, with burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
