Dawayne Moye Obituary

Dawayne Moye, 47, of Hartford, Connecticut, departed this life on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.  Born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, he was a son of Alonzo McQueen and Yvette Moye.  Dawayne was employed as a forklift operator.

We celebrate a man who embodied unwavering love, understanding, and integrity.  Throughout his life, he constantly sought better opportunities to enhance both his personal growth and his ability to touch the lives of others.  To know him was to love him, as his overwhelming love embraced all those who had the privilege of crossing his path.  His genuine care and compassion touched countless hearts, and his legacy of kindness will forever inspire us to be better versions of ourselves.  May his spirit continue to guide us as we strive to honor his memory and carry forward his remarkable qualities.

Pre-deceased by his parents, he is survived by a son, Joshua Rodriguez of Holyoke;  a daughter, Dianna Moye of Hartford;  a sister, Kelly Moye of Raleigh, North Carolina;  two nieces, RayJonna Moye and Kayla Moye, both of Raleigh;  and a host of other relatives and friends.
