Delphine Wray, 52, of Springfield, Massachusetts, unexpectedly departed this life on Monday, December 27, 2021 at her home. Delphine was born on November 1, 1969, to the late Willie Daniels and Bernice Wray. She enjoyed singing, dancing, helping others and staying at home relaxing with her family. Delphine's personality illuminated any room she entered. Delphine graduated in 1969 from the High School of Commerce and in 2019 from Springfield College, with a Bachelor of Science degree. She began her lifelong career of helping others at the Friends of the Homeless as an intake staff member; moving through the ranks to become a Program Manager there.
Delphine was pre-deceased by her sister, Gwendolyn Wray, and brother, Johnny Lee Wray, and leaves to cherish her memory a step-son, Khayri Jeudy; her partner of 15 years, Paul Jeudy; her brother, Germaine Wray (and Amy); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews, to whom she was exceptionally good.
The calling hour is noon to 1 p.m. Friday, at Harrell Funeral Home, followed by the funeral at 1. Masks and social distancing are required.
