Dorthy Atkins

  Dorothy Mae Atkins, 77, of Converse Street, Longmeadow, Massachusetts, departed this life on Saturday, May 17, 2025. 

  Born in Allendale, South Carolina, she was a daughter of Willie Atkins and Sadie (Ash) Atkins.  Dorothy was a forty-year resident of Springfield and worked as a home health aide.  She attended the Liberty Heights Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Pre-deceased by her parents, she is survived by a son, David L. Atkins of Springfield;  a sister, Willie Mae Atkins;  and many other relatives and friends. 

The calling hour is 10-11, Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Harrell Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 11, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
