Eddie Jenkins Jr.

Eddie Jenkins, Jr., a loving son, father, and brother, left these mortal bounds for peace eternal on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. 

Eddie was born on April 11, 1980, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to Mother, Pastor Eugenia Finnell, and Father, the late Eddie Jenkins, Sr. Eddie was a lover of people and laughter. His memory was profound and intellect boundless.   

Visiting Divine Faith Ministries, Inc., where his mother is Pastor, gave him solace, and was considered a member. He would quote scripture through his love for spoken word and rap. He enjoyed catching a good basketball game. Eddie’s love for people guided his free-spirit and giving heart.  

He will be greeted at the Gates of Heaven by his father, Eddie Jenkins, Sr., maternal Grandmother, Bishop Ethel Mae Faust, and paternal Grandfather Will Jenkins. 

Eddie’s family will miss his energy, contagious laughter, and sense of humor. He leaves behind his mother Pastor, Eugenia Finnell, stepfather Melvin Finnell, son Eddie Malik-Jenkins Coppedge; siblings: sisters, Tammie M. Robinson (Samuel), Lakisha M. Coppedge (James), brother Stanley Guy, Jr., his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Perlie Mae Jenkins, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He had a great love for all of his family.
