Edith L. Nunnally

  Edith Lorraine (Mills) Nunnally, 91, of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 5, 2023. 

  Edith was born in Springfield to Florence (Mills) Hall on August 21, 1932.   Edith attended local schools and was employed by Baystate Medical Center for 25 years.  Edith loved to cook, travel, and shop.  Edith’s greatest love was her family. 

  Edith was preceded in death by her mother, Florence (Mills) Hall, her son, Siford Nunnally, her daughter, Justina (Nunnally) McCloud, and her siblings, Clinton Babcock and Bunny Babcock.  Edith leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Siford Nunnally Sr.;  a daughter, Jerri-Lynn Myrick;  three sons, Robert Nunnally, Paul Nunnally, and Mark Nunnally;  three brothers, Robert Babcock of Bloomfield, CT, William (and Sue) Babcock of Maine, and Henry Payne;  17 grandchildren;  20 great-grandchildren;  7 great-great-grandchildren;  and a host of family and friends.

The calling hour is 10-11 a.m. Friday, September 22, at Spring of Hope Church of God In Christ, 35 Alden Street, Springfield, followed by funeral services at 11, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
