Elouise “Weezie” Brown, 71, of Glenwood Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
Born in Riegelwood, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late George Brown and the late Ella (Moore) Brown. Mrs. Brown was a 53-year Springfield resident and had been employed at Diamond Match Company and as a machinist by Titeflex. She was a member of the Even Uniques Social Club and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and giving advice.
Pre-deceased by her brother, Clarence Brown, she is survived by her husband, Arthur Brown of Springfield; two sisters, Minnie Brown of Springfield and Wanda Brown of Riegelwood; a sister-in-law, Jeanette Brown; a special niece, Crystal Brown of Riegelwood; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The calling hour is 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, May 10, at Harrell Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at noon, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
