Ethel M. Wright, 73, of Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life at her home on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
Born in Richland, Georgia, she was a daughter of Edward Wright and Mary (Jordan) Johnston. Ethel was employed as a home health aide, worked for many years for the DARE Family Services as a foster mother, and was a member of St. John’s Congregational Church. She is survived by a son, Nicholas Ghansah; a brother, Billy Jordan; two grandchildren, Julian Ghansah and Kendall Ghansah; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
