Fanneree (McGraw) Baymon, 81, of Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Mangham, Louisiana, she was a daughter of the late Andrew James McGraw and the late Fannie (Baker) McGraw.
A sixty-four year resident of Springfield, she was the founder and owner of Fanneree’s Finery, where she sold elegant women’s apparel and accessories. She was a member and First Lady of Whole Truth Temple Church Of God In Christ. After many years of dedicated church service, she became an award-winning Supervisor of Women in the Massachusetts First Jurisdiction, of the Church of God in Christ. In this role, she successfully organized, taught, and trained woman from the 42 churches which were under her leadership.
She is survived by her husband, Pastor William James Baymon Sr.; two sons, Mark Baymon Sr. (and wife, Johnetta) and William Baymon Jr. (and wife, Tracey); a daughter, Angela (Baymon) Burns (and husband, Tracy); a brother, Alvin McGraw; two sisters, Natha Burton and Patricia Burton; ten grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The calling hour is 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Macedonia Church Of God In Christ, 215 Tinkham Road, Springfield, MA., followed by funeral services at 11, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
