Frances Jones

Mrs. Frances Jones, of Springfield, Massachusetts originally of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Jones was born in Putnam County, Georgia to the late Lee and Vianna Yarbrough Reaves.  She attended school in Hancock and Baldwin County, GA and was a graduate of Baldwin County Schools, Milledgeville, GA.  She worked for over 40 years at Pratt & Whitney in E. Hartford, CT.  She enjoyed family gatherings, shopping and fashion.

Frances is survived by a loving husband of over 40 years Mr. Romiles Jones; two step-sons Vincent Taylor (Hazel) and Dexter Bridges of Apopka, FL and a step-daughter Laticia Roberts (Robert) of Erie, PA; two sisters Lizzie Hartry and Janice Reeves of Milledgeville, GA and a step-sister Eunice Cooper of Atlanta, GA; four brothers Roger Reaves (Johnnie Ann) of Eatonton, GA, Curtis Reaves (Ernestine), Vernon Reaves (Kim) of Milledgeville, GA, and Kimble Reaves of Springfield, MA; sisters-in-law Juanita Reaves of Louisville, GA, Cecelia Randolph (William), Princes Jones (Louis) of Hartford, CT; a brother-in-law Otis Jones (Chris) of Selma, AL and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to cherish her memory.  There will be a calling hour on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Whole Truth Church, 8 Norfolk St., followed by the funeral at noon with burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, face masks and social distancing are required.
