Geraldine Kelly

  Geraldine Kelly, 94, of Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Bear Mountain Nursing Home in West Springfield, Massachusetts. 

  Born in Brookhaven, Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late Versia Kelly and the late Addie (Fairman) Kelly.  Ms. Kelly attended Mississippi schools and was employed as a housekeeper.  A sixty-two year resident of Springfield, she was a member of Third Baptist Church, where she served as an usher.  She enjoyed gardening.  Geraldine is survived by five children, Ronald K. Kelly, Etta J. Kelly, Dorothy Mae Kelly, Lolita O Kelly, and Elizabeth Kelly;  and a host of other relatives and friends. 

The calling hour is 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Third Baptist Church, 149 Walnut Street, Springfield, MA, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m., with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.   Harrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
