Gregory Anthony "Tony" Robinson, 64, of Lynn, Massachusetts, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at home.
Tony was born in Springfield, Massachusetts. He attended Springfield Technical High School and later served in the Army National Guard, where he received an Honorable Discharge upon leaving the military. He was a resident of Lynn for the past 15 years and worked as a construction laborer.
Tony enjoyed playing chess, listening to various types of music, spending time on the beach, visiting family and friends, and calling people to stay in touch. He had a knack for making people laugh while discussing current events or reminiscing about the past. He was in a dance group called Extension 5 during his youth and would recall the excitement from the crowd during performances.
Tony is predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Graham. He is survived by his children, Christopher A. Robinson of Swampscott, Massachusetts and Gregory A. Robinson of Marietta, Georgia; an added son, Rachene Crump of Pittsfield, Massachusetts; a sister, Denise (and Reuben) Hudson of Lawrenceville, Georgia; a brother, John C. Graham III of New York, New York; an aunt, Ernestine Robinson of Wilbraham, Massachusetts; seven grandchildren, Anaia, Jaylen, Keoni, Xaria, Gregory, Elijah, and Aiden; a host of other relatives; and many friends.
The calling hour is 3-4 p.m. Thursday at Harrell Funeral Home, 355 St. James Ave., Springfield, MA, followed by funeral services at 4 p.m.
