Hayward Johnson Jr.

Hayward Johnson Jr., 76, of Prospect Hill Rd., Windsor, CT departed this life on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center.  Born in Camden, Mississippi to Haywood Johnson Sr. and Geneva (Carson) Johnson, Hayward was a  fifty year Springfield  resident, who retired from Hamilton Standard and was a member of Third Baptist Church.  He leaves  two children  Jason Johnson and Matrisha Johnson-Walker; seven siblings, Louis Johnson, Earl C. Johnson, Bobby Dawson, Percy Johnson, Annie Ware, Rosie Johnson, and Debra Johnson Tolliver; five grandchildren and his former wife Betty Johnson. He was predeceased by his parents, a daughter Jacqueline, and sisters Clara Mae and Dorothy.  The calling hour is Monday, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at Third Baptist Church, 149 Walnut Street,
