Horace O. Nelson

  Horace Oliver Nelson, 60, of Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Friday, June 2, 2023. 

  Born in Mandeville, Jamaica, he was a son of Headley Nelson and Janet (Rowtham) Nelson.  Mr. Nelson had been employed as a package handler at UPS.  He was a member of Bethany Assembly of God, Teamster Union #404, and the Veterans Golf Club. 

  Pre-deceased by his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Latoya Bennefield of Columbia, South Carolina;  two brothers, Wayne Nelson of Springfield and Rudy Nelson of Houston, Texas;  a grandchild, Mianah Bennefield of Columbia;  the Rowtham Family;  and a host of other relatives and friends.
