Ida Mae (Atkins) Harbour, 77, of 20 Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
Born in Ferriday, Louisiana, was a daughter of the late Robert Atkins and the late Classie (Martin) Atkins. Ida provided private duty homecare as a Nurse’s Aide and was a member of Love, Faith, and Deliverance Tabernacle.
She is survived by her husband, Kurry Harbour; seven daughters, Maria Atkins, Mary Larriu, Antonette Atkins, Sophia Atkins, Lakreisha Atkins, Tomisha Atkins, and Mychella Atkins; five brothers, Robert Durley, James Atkins, Alfred Atkins, Frank James Atkins, and Wayne Atkins; nine sisters, Fannie Godbolt, Georgia Atkins, Suzzie Atkins, Ruby Lee Green, Judy Jefferson, Diane Atkins, Marylin Alexander, Jannie Pearl Whitaker, and Yvonne Atkins; twenty-four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A calling hour will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Harrell Funeral Home.
