Inez Oliver

 Inez (Rose) Oliver, 93, of Massachusetts Avenue, Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. 

 Born in Montgomery, Alabama, she was the third and last surviving of four children of the late Will Rose and the late Gracie (Peoples) Tolliver.  Inez was a former member of Mission Church in Montgomery.  A Springfield resident since 1969, she enjoyed fishing, cooking, playing dominoes and cards, and hosting events. 

 Pre-deceased by her husband, Will Rose;  three sons, Herbert James Oliver, Jessie James Oliver, and LC Oliver;  and three siblings, Henry Ross, LC Rose, and Rosie L. Rose, she is survived by three sons, Willie James Oliver Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Frank James Oliver and Henry James Oliver, both of Springfield;  a daughter, Recie Rose of Springfield;  twenty-two grandchildren;  seventy-two great-grandchildren;  twenty-five great-great-grandchildren;  and a host of other family and friends. 

 The calling hour is 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, November 9, at Mission Church, 20 Bowdoin Terrace, followed by funeral services at 11, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
