James Davis

  James Lee Davis, 55, of St. James Boulevard, Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on Friday, February 25, 2022.  Born in Albany, GA, he was a son of the late Jimmie Lee Davis Sr. and the late Corine (Crapps) Davis. 

  Mr. Davis was a maintenance worker at Springfield Technical Community College and attended the Christian Cathedral.  He enjoyed football, fishing, singing, dancing, cooking (known for his special sauce), and baking.  Most of all, he loved doing things with his kids. 

  Pre-deceased by his parents and two sisters, Joyce Ann Caldwell and Linda Ross, he is survived by four sons, Darrell Davis, Raymond Owens, and Terrence Fuller, all of Springfield and James Davis of Chicopee;  two daughters, Latasha Fuller and Takahryana Chase, both of Springfield, a brother, Jimmie Lee Davis Jr. of Springfield;  two sisters, Mildred Hall and Sandra Narcisse, both of Springfield;  twenty-one grandchildren;  and a host of other relatives and friends.

  The calling hour is 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at Harrell Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 11.
