James Gregory Jr. (aka Micheal Raphael)

  James E. Gregory Jr. (aka Ricky) (aka Michael E.G. Raphael), 69, of Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on December 29, 2024.  Born in Springfield, he was a son of James E. Gregory Sr. and Dorothy A. (Guy) Gregory.  

  James attended Springfield schools, was employed as a security guard, and was a member of The United House of Prayer.  

  Pre-deceased by his father, he is survived by his mother;  five sisters, Kathleen M. Gregory, June A. (Nelvin) Levester, Renee D. Gregory, Dawn L. (Bruce) McLean, and Lisa M. (Charles) Dixon;  and a host of other relatives, friends, and a special friend Geraldine (Geri) Walker.  

The calling hour is 10-11 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2025, at The United House of Prayer, 331 Wilbraham Road, Springfield, MA, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m., with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
