Janet L. Parker

  Janet Lynn (Dancy) Parker, 67, of Oak Grove Avenue, Springfield, Massachusetts, a beloved daughter of John Wesley Davis and Geraldine Dancy, departed this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at her home.  Born in Springfield, Janet remained a lifelong resident of the city.  She was a member of The United House Of Prayer For All People, where she served on the United Usher Board and United Generation.

  Janet will be remembered forever by her sons, Dewayne Thomas Dancy Williams, Roy D. Deshawn Dancy, William Decory Dancy, and Jovan Darrell Dancy;  her daughter, Janeaise Lynn Dancy;  two brothers, Ralph Jerome Dancy and John Wesley Davis Jr.;  two sisters, Annette Davis Harris and Betty Cunningham;  fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

  The wake will be Friday 6-7 p.m. at The United House Of Prayer For All People, 331 Wilbraham Road, Springfield, followed by the funeral at 7 p.m.  Burial will be on Monday morning in Oak Grove Cemetery.
