Jeffery W. Jaynes

  Jeffery W. Jaynes Sr., 70, of Springfield, Massachusetts, departed this life on August 2, 2024. 

  Born in Springfield, he was a son of the late Robert William Jaynes and the late Julia Mae (Wells) Jaynes.  Jeffery was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had been employed as a postal clerk for the United States Postal Service.  He was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.  He is survived by three children, Frances-Julia Briana Jaynes, Jessica Althamease Thomas-Jaynes, and Jeffery William Jaynes Jr.;  two sisters, Nealon L. Jaynes-Lewis and Lesilie K. Jaynes;  and a host of other relatives.
